Property Assessment FAQs – Multnomah County
Learn how property values and taxes are calculated in Multnomah County. This FAQ explains how the county determines your home’s taxable value, why your tax bill changes from year to year, and how Oregon’s property tax limits (like Measure 50) keep annual increases predictable.
Why this matters for us:
Even if our park sells or we buy it as residents, Oregon’s property tax rules limit how much the taxable value of the land can increase each year (usually 3%). That means property taxes for the park—and ultimately our space rents—stay more predictable and won’t suddenly skyrocket just because ownership changes.
